This website uses cookies. We store cookies on your device only if they are strictly necessary for the functioning of the site. For all other types of cookies, we need your consent. This cookie notice explains what cookies are and how we use them on the website telemach.si, managed by Telemach Slovenija d.o.o., Brnčičeva ulica 49A, 1231 Ljubljana-Črnuče.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a small text file, typically consisting of letters and numbers (with an ID tag), which can be placed on your computer or mobile device when you access our platforms. Cookies are created when your browser loads a specific web page. The website sends information to the browser, which then creates a text file. Each time you return to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website’s server. More information about cookies can be found at www.allaboutcookies.org.

You can access and change cookie settings at any time by clicking here.

2. WHICH COOKIES WE USE, WHY, AND HOW THEY AFFECT YOU?

A. Essential cookies: These cookies are necessary as they enable basic functionality. Without these cookies, services you have requested, such as adding products to the shopping cart, cannot be provided. If you disable these cookies, some parts of the platform will not work for you, like adding products to the cart and proceeding to checkout.

B. Analytical/statistical cookies: These cookies help us improve and optimize the experience we provide. They allow us to measure visitor interaction with our platforms and use the information to improve user experience and the performance of our platforms.

These cookies collect technical information, such as the last visited platform, the number of pages visited, data on whether emails were opened or not, which parts of our website you clicked on, and the time elapsed between individual clicks.

C. Functional cookies: We may also use cookies that are not essential but enable various useful features on our websites.

For example, these cookies collect information about your interaction with services available on our platforms and can be used on our platforms to record your preferences (e.g., your language setting), your interests, and the display of the website (e.g., font size). When you request a particular service, we will ask for your consent to use these cookies.

D. Advertising cookies: These cookies are used to collect information about your browsing habits to make advertising more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an ad and to help measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. We may share this information with third parties who help manage online advertising – see the “Third Parties” section below for more details.

3. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

When you use our platforms, some cookies that are not under our control may also be stored. This may happen if part of the visited platform uses third-party analytics or marketing automation tools or includes content displayed from third-party websites, such as YouTube or Facebook. Review the privacy and cookie policies of these services to understand how these third parties use cookies and whether your cookie data is transferred to third countries. A list of third parties setting cookies on our platforms is available here.

When you visit our platforms, we ask for your consent to place non-essential cookies on your device. We use both first-party cookies and third-party cookies. First-party cookies come from our platform and send information only to us; third-party cookies are placed on our website by third parties and send information about your device to other companies to analyze your use of our website. We use session cookies, which are stored only during the session and are deleted when you close the browser; and persistent cookies, which are deleted after a set period or when the user deletes them.

To disable cookies, see details below.

The table below explains which cookies we use, their purpose, and storage duration.

4. SOCIAL MEDIA BUTTONS

On our website pages, you will find “social media buttons.” They allow you to share or bookmark our website pages.

Social media websites like Twitter, Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn can collect data about your internet activity. If you visit our platforms and are logged into their services, some pages you visit may be recorded, even if you do not click the button. In such a case, we may be joint controllers with the social media website regarding data transmitted from our website. However, regarding each subsequent use of your data, they act as separate controllers. You can exercise your rights regarding data under joint control with either us or the social media partner.

For their further use, review the privacy and cookie policies of each of these websites to understand exactly how they use your data and learn how to disable or delete such data.

  4. LinkedIn Cookies

Facebook Pixel

Our websites also use the Facebook Pixel cookie provided by Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”). We use Facebook Pixel to track user behavior, which allows us to send you relevant, targeted ads on Facebook. It’s a tracking pixel that collects information about you and is used to create and optimize ad target audiences on Facebook. For example, the pixel collects and sends Facebook data related to an identifier, such as your name or IP address, about your visit to our website and the buttons you clicked. The pixel sends this data to Facebook, where it is linked to your user profile if you have one. Thus, when we create an ad on Facebook, we can request that the ad be targeted to people who have visited our website, and the ad may appear in your feed. We do not collect or store any personal data about you through the tracking pixel, but Facebook collects and stores it. To opt out of such data processing, you can use Facebook’s settings and opt-out options at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/edit.

LinkedIn Tag

The LinkedIn Insight Tag tool is part of the code we added to our websites to enable detailed campaign reporting and insight into valuable data about our website visitors. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag technology to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and gain additional insight into members interacting with our LinkedIn ads.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag tool allows the collection of metadata, such as IP address information, timestamps, and events like page views. All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie is stored in the visitor’s browser until it is deleted or the cookie expires (six-month period from the last time the visitor’s browser loaded the Insight Tag). You can reject LinkedIn cookies on the LinkedIn settings page. We recommend reading their Cookie Policy for more information.

Google Analytics

Our platforms also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by third-party provider Google, Ireland Limited (“Google”). Google Analytics is used to evaluate your use of our website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Information about your use of the website generated by the cookie is usually transferred to and stored on Google’s servers in the United States. Data transfer takes place based on standard contractual clauses as appropriate safeguards for data protection. These are available at:

https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/.

On this website, IP anonymization is activated. This means that your IP address will be automatically shortened after collection, making it no longer possible to link it to you.

Cookies or comparable technologies are used with your consent based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Your personal data will be processed with your consent based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. For more information on terms of use and data protection, see:

5. MANUAL MANAGEMENT OF COOKIES

You can manually manage cookies on your computer/device in several ways. More information is available on the Cookies website. Note that you may not be able to complete certain activities on our websites or access certain parts properly if you disable cookies in your browser. For more information on interest-based advertising, including how to opt-out of these cookies, visit http://youronlinechoices.eu/.

If you access the internet from more than one computer/device, it is important to ensure that each browser is configured to match your cookie preferences.

6. DO NOT TRACK

To block all cookies at all times, you can set your browser accordingly. We warn you that blocking cookies may cause some parts of our website not to function properly. This may affect your browsing experience. Our platforms respect the DNT:1 signal as a valid browser setting indicating your preferences.

7. HOW CAN YOU MANAGE YOUR COOKIE SETTINGS?

When you visit our website, we ask you to fully or partially accept or reject the installation of cookies on your devices. However, rejection of cookies that are strictly necessary for providing the website’s functionality is not possible. If you have agreed to the use of other cookies, you can withdraw your consent at any time by changing your settings here. If you do not agree with the cookies, they will be disabled on your device. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings at any time (for more information on how to do this, see the “how to delete cookies” tab on www.allaboutcookies.org/cookies).

If you choose to disable cookies, please be aware that some parts of our platforms may not function properly and that your use of our platforms may be impaired.
